The Bus and Coach Society of Victoria (BCSV) website is intended to become a central resource for those wanting to learn more about the role of buses and coaches in Victoria, Australia.
The BCSV was founded in December 1968 to bring together the many enthusiasts and bus operators who have a passion for road-based passenger transport in Victoria.

Virtual Museum
Our extensive Virtual Museum contains plenty of history on vehicles, manufacturers, operators and services along with feature articles, with more content to be added in the months and years ahead.
Over time we hope it becomes a valuable research tool, as well as evoking memories of the past.
Tours & Meetings
BCSV regularly run events including low-cost day tours for members and guests, a chance to go behind the scenes at bus depots, travel on historic vehicles and meet others interested in buses!
We also hold bi-monthly social meetings four-to-five times a year (3rd Sunday afternoon of odd months) looking back on historic photos on interesting themes plus hosting industry guest speakers.
Magazine
We produce a bi-monthly magazine, Australia Bus Panorama full of industry news, fleet changes, feature articles and numerous photos. There is also an annual Special Christmas special full of photos and company histories to read over the summer.
Membership
Today, over 230 members belong to the BCSV, including numerous bus operators. We have gained a good reputation amongst operators, industry bodies and historic groups, all of whom provide us with invaluable support each year.
Membership to the Society for the current financial year is just $60, with a concession rate of $45 available for pensioners and students under 25. This includes the 7 issues of the Australia Bus Panorama magazine mentioned above along with reduced fares and priority bookings for our tours.
Bus Australia
We recommend visiting the popular Bus Australia website for a broader overview of transport across the country, or perhaps contributing your views on the Australian Transport Discussion Board.
The site is also home to the extensive Fleet Lists for numerous operators around the country, that our members assist in maintaining.
